Starting January 1, 2012 our church will be reading through the New Testament in a year together.  Each day a passage of scripture will be emailed out (email scripture@davenportnaz.com to subscribe), a reference will be texted out (text "nazarene" to 292929 to subscribe), or printouts will be made available weekly.  As we proceed through the New Testament, Adult Sunday school lessons, Youth Sunday School lessons, Children's church lessons, and Sunday sermons will all come from what was read the prior week.  Sunday nights will focus on better understanding of what will be read in the week to come.

In an effort to better train disciples, Sunday evenings have been transitioned from a normal service to an in-depth Bible Study.  We are currently working our way through the book of Galatians.  The study starts weekly at 6pm at the church.

The Caravan program has begun for the year.  We will meet on  Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30pm.  Caravans is a weekly kids club committed to the social, physical, mental and spiritual growth of children using an active, hands-on learning approach to help kids discover, develop, experience, and grow.  The Caravan program is for children in grades 1-6. We also have a class for the children age 3 through Kindergarten entitled “Tell Me the Story” where they will be learning the stories of the Old Testament.  If you would like for your child to be a part of these programs, please see Beth Sindt.  Nursery is also available for    children under age 3.

Crazy Love Classes

posted Sep 12, 2011, 8:18 AM by Emmanuel Reinbold   [ updated Sep 12, 2011, 8:21 AM by Amy S Trosen ]

Our mission statement is “Training disciples who passionately seek God through prayer, worship, and fellowship.” In order for us to be passionate disciples, we need to understand what isn’t working and deal with all the different things in life that keep us from fulfilling this. Crazy Love classes will start 9-11-11 (Sun. mornings at 9:30 am) for young adults (20’s and 30’s) and Sept. 14 (Wed. nights at 6:30 pm) for all ages. (Nursery is available during both classes). For any questions please contact Janelle Reinbold. God has great things in store for us as we seek to live as He has designed us to!

God With Us VBS

July 23-27

6:00 -8:30 pm

Our “God With Us” team is passionate about making your child’s VBS experience the best it can be by providing a safe environment for them to enjoy. We have put into place a comprehensive plan for their safety and your peace of mind including a screening process for all volunteers, safe and secure sign-in/pick-up procedures, the “Two Deep” rule and much more! In order to partner with us in keeping your kids safe, please plan to accompany your child to the registration tables as well as to their “Huddle” area when you bring them to the church and meet your child back at the same place to pick them up.  Because we will need your signature in order for your child to participate in VBS, after you fill out the following registration information we will send you a card in the mail for you to sign and bring with you on the first night your child attends.

Please note: To prevent unnecessary tripping or falling accidents in our village, we would strongly suggest that your child/children come wearing shoes that are safe to walk and run in (please, no flip-flops).
